Regina Olson Hughes, ’18, G-’20, H-’67, was one of the most prolific American illustrators ever, creating thousands of drawings and paintings. Her primary focus was botanical artwork, which contributed to much of modern knowledge about plants. She worked for the United States Department of Agriculture and the Smithsonian Institution for decades, and received many awards for her art.
